"Remember, hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies."
– Stephen King

Hey there! I’m glad you stumbled upon my page. I provide 1-on-1 therapy for adult individuals 18+ in Round Rock and throughout TX, CO, MA and FL. My primary areas of focus are: neurodivergence; over-achievers and people-pleasers; the chronically depressed; and adult children of addicts, narcissists, and Borderline Personality disordered parents.

I believe the best way to create lasting change is to stop trying to change and to start accepting our reality: our emotions, our past, and the pieces of ourselves that we hide and hide from. The pieces we find shameful, embarrassing, or unlovable. I know what you’re thinking… “That sounds terrible. Why would I want to do that?” Because within these pieces of you, live your oldest wounds; your most painful memories; the times you felt rejected, alone or abandoned; the roots of your suffering. When you stop fighting against yourself and start approaching yourself with curiosity, acceptance and compassion… That’s when things start to change, the parts of yourself that you’ve hated the most can become steppingstones toward the life you want to live.

I offer in-person appointments in Round Rock and virtual appointments to residents of TX, CO, MA, and FL.

Working with me

I’m trained in Emotion-Focused Therapy; a humanistic, evidence-based approach that draws from attachment theory and uses *you guessed it* emotion as the vehicle for transformation. It’s great for improving emotional awareness, communication and self-esteem, and for reprocessing painful emotions and healing from trauma.

I am a professional, but I’m human first. Both parts of me are present in the therapy room with you. I’m very direct and will be honest with you even when it’s uncomfortable. If you work with me, you can expect to feel respected, heard, and challenged. You can also expect to do a lot of laughing.

I am a bookworm, animal lover, antique-er, and tattoo enthusiast. I love 70’s rock-n-roll, horror literature, breakfast, and rooting for the underdog (unless it’s a UT game. Hook ‘Em). I’m neither an early bird nor a night owl, but more of a midday pigeon. I have 3 cats and 1 dog. Both personally and professionally I value fun, humor, connection, and honesty.

Standard rate for a 50-minute session starts at $175.

I am in-network with Aetna, Baylor Scott & White, BCBSTX, UHC/Optum, UMR, Oscar, Oxford, Quest Behavioral Health, Horizon BCBS of New Jersey, and BCBS of Massachusetts.
